【Social Charity】iST and “Chemistry on the Go” Bring Enchanting Chemistry to Campus

iST has collaborated with Tamkang University Center for science education and visited the Shuiyuan Elementary school, located in the suburbs of the science park, to perform the enchanting magic of chemistry to the children.

The ‘’Chemistry on the Go” began with exciting stories of scientists and lively performances, turning the originally confusing periodic table of elements into memorable points instantly. With three small and exciting scientific experiments, the students were able to try it out themselves. They sometimes scream in surprise and hold their breath in awe, bringing not only teaching textbooks but also interesting real-life science experiments into the classroom!

The most impressive thing for us was that although the children didn’t know what iST is and what “verification analysis” means when we first introduced iST to them. But after describing it as “humans need to see doctors when they are sick, and electronics industry products need to see doctors, and we are the doctors in the electronics industry”. They exclaimed in admiration with their eyes lit up. It seems that explaining specialized terms to children still needs different methods of explanation.

We’re glad to have a pleasant day with little scientists. We look forward to seeing the children continue maintaining their passion for science and become amazing scientists in the future.
